So I am trying to see if it is possible to not allow users on one mailbox database be able to send externally. I have two databases, and was hoping to stop users on one of the databases from sending external to the organization. I have yet to find anything on it in my research, so I was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction.

We are facing problem during mail receiving from internet. In our infra we had hosted spam service on cloud and it forward the mail to our firewall (checkpoint) and than delivers to Array load balancer ( two lad balance in active passive mode). It was observer while receiving there are lots of mails which found in the queue. and all the time we have to manually release it. But as soon as we remove load balance and do direct natting to exchange 2013 server mail flow is normal and we didnt find any queue as well. Please help me to fix up.
Wondering if anyone can point me in the correct direction for dealing with a really annoying issue. The last few weeks we have had mail flowing really well and now the following issue has popped up yet again. I have no idea why after everything has been working well. No changes have been implemented anywhere so I'm stumped as to why this has started happening.
The problem is on some of the queues with the following message:
432 4.3.2 STOREDRV.Storage; mailbox server mapi session limit exceeded; STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:TooManyObjectsOpenedException.MapiExceptionSessionLimit;Failed
Google has not been my friend when looking at this and what happens is that the relevant queues this hits builds and builds and then it re-tries, deals with a shit load of mail and then it starts to build again.
I have problem with one mailbox. I can see in message tracking log mail. But mail is not in Users mailbox.
I have even enabled single item recovery, and try to search mailbox, but could not get any results for that specific theme. Mail was not in deletions, not in Purges and not in Versions.
What does EventID Process mean, it should be delivered. This event id is missing ?

our ptr : 175.a.x.140 = mail.x.shm.com
175.a.x.141 is our WAN 1 interface of the firewall.
Why does the external domain reject the RDNS.

I'll start by prefacing that I have little to no HTML or CSS experience.
I've begun experimenting with using the disclaimer feature in Exchange 2013 to add personalized signatures to users' messages. I'm also trying to stylize the signature text with fonts and color via HTML.
Currently, the signature text appears correctly in Outlook and webmail internally, but the font, color, and size attributes don't seem to survive when sent to a Gmail account. Instead, the signature appears to only display in plain text.
After some research, I was told that Gmail strips a lot of HTML code from incoming messages and to instead convert my code to inline CSS, which Gmail should leave alone. I've been using MailChimp's "CSS Inliner Tool", but the code output is always the same as the code input. I figured maybe the code I wrote is already in inline CSS format?
Here is an example of what I'm trying to use:

I plan to use a SMTP Arciving feature in my archiving solution (non Microsoft). I wish to send a BCC copy of every message to a particular SMTP server (installen on archiving software). In Exchange 2003 there was a BCC journaling feature that could be enabled in a registry. Is there any way to direct all messages, external and internal, to a third-party SMTP server on Exchange 2013/2016? On that separate SMTP server I have an archiving software that can capture and archive incomming messages. I'm not able to use standard Exchange Journaling, since I have no licenses to integrate my currect archiving solution (non Microsoft) with a Journal Mailbox.
Any ideas?

I was going through message tracking, external user may not be receiving emails from us, and I ran into these two errors I had not seen before, Hard Direct Fail and No Suitable Shadow Servers.
the email in question is being forwarded from an AS400 through our Exchange 2013 through a relay connector, also we have two Exchange 2013 servers and a witness server to form a DAG group.
does the shadow server refer to the 2nd exchange in the DAG group?
I ran several status checks on the DAG group, and status appears to be ok.
How do you enable SMS sync on Exchange 2013 so that SMS messages on a users phone is delivered to the users mailbox?
I have searched but see nothing on how to set this up. The only documentation I have found is how to enable Text messaging through OWA so that you receive a Text for an email/calendarevent/voicemessage in exchange.

Have Exchange 2010 running on a VmWare virtual server. Generally the mail is flowing however with SOME domains (maybe 3 at the most) the Sender is getting the following message when they try to send an email to our domain.
One more note: We have no problem internally sending an email to the external domains in question. The only issue is when the external domain try to send emails to our domain.

We are using Barracuda Spam Firewall 300Vx with Exchange 2013 (Tenant) and disable the features Allow Empty Inbound Senders Domain/Allow Empty Oubound Senders Domain. Please review the first image.
I configure OOO on my company account like shoaib@domain.com and send a test email from Yahoo/Google/Hotmail and other domains to company account. I received the email but OOO reply blocked on BC as from sender is empty. Please review the second image.
I discuss this issue with BC support, They said that below issue is related to your exchange server as FROM address should not empty. Someone please let me know how to resolve this issue as we enable the SRV record on DNS and auto configuration is working fine.
We configure Send Connector on Exchange Server and all Inbound/Outbound emails are passes through barracuda spam firewall.
Allow external out of office message only also enable on Remote Domains.

We have a problem when we are looking Queues in Toolbox Exchange 2013 CU11.
After a few minutes, there is a Popup that says:
"Starting a command on the remote server failed with the following error message: Error occurred during the Kerberos Response
[Server=Nameoftheserver, timeStamp=xxxx]
For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting help topic."
We can click ok and then open Queue Viewer again and it works,but after a few minutes, this pop-up appears again.

We moved to another location and got a new ip from ISP and our exchange server is not able to send emails to some recipients getting .mail.protection.outlook.com error.

This is the error I am getting and I did email to delist@messaging.microsoft.com and I am wondering when will my IP get unblocked as this is causing a lot of communication issues. I checked my ip for blacklist but its not in any database. Hope I'll be able to find some solution soon on this.

We have the Exchange 2013 with CU10.
Today I have created a transportrule like following:
If an email was sent to a member of the group "ABCD",
and it's from outside of the organization.
THEN reject the message with the text:
"You're not allowed to send to this Mailbox", with Status code. 5.7.1
So I have send a test-email to one of the mailboxes, which are in the group "ABCD" and I'm getting the NDR, but WITHOUT the text "You're not allowed to send to this Mailbox"
Then I have also changed it to "inside the organization" and send an email to a Mailbox of the group "ABCD" and there it was working correctly. I got a NDR with the text "You're not allowed to send to this Mailbox".
Did somebody had already this issue? Is this maybe a bug? Can you help us solving it?

We're running on an Exchange 2013 server. When users get a NDR (look OK at this time), but when forwarding the NDR to system admin, they get garbled into Chinese (or what looks like Chinese). Any ideas on solving this ?

We have Exchange 2013 CAS and MBX separate server with two Email domains @abc.com and @xyz.com, functioning properly.
Issue: when user@abc.com send mail, in the recipient side source header is showing as "Received: from 127.0.0.1 (EHLO xyz.com) (10.10.10.2)" or "Received: from 127.0.0.1 (EHLO abc.com) (10.10.10.2)" .
Requirement: When user@abc.com send mail, recipient should send only source header information respective to the domain name as "Received: from 127.0.0.1 (EHLO abc.com) (10.10.10.2)"
How can i achieve this?

I need some help with a situation that has been ongoing for the past couple of days - All our mail enabled public folders have stopped receiving external mail. Internal works fine.
Our environment is setup as below:
- Exchange 2013 CU7 - Version: Version 15.0 (Build 1044.25)
Public Folder created > "Showroom" > under one subfolder from the root
Any assistance would be highly appreciated.
